New landing page on my Caricature website. It’s a colored version of a previous sketch I uploaded. I haven’t colored the people looking over his shoulder yet, but it’s getting there. Hurray for progress!!

Sketching in Downtown Pasadena. Easter Sunday.
I drew this about a month ago. Thought it was appropriate for today.
One for Thursday.
A cleaned up version of an earlier sketch I did. Drew Tretick, an amazing violinist playing at Downtown Disney. I was super happy to be able to capture him play. And of course listen. :) I absolutely love drawing live musicians.
My piece for the “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland Project”, a 300 page book commemorating the 150th anniversary of Lewis Carroll’s original. 150 artists were each given a piece of text to illustrate. My piece was done in ink on paper and photoshop.
Here’s the link to my profile on the site: http://www.150alice.com/?project=ricardo-de-los-angeles-ricky
If haven’t check it out, I also have a Caricature Blog :) This was from an event I drew at last night.
My fav of the night. #caricature

I love ‘Les Miserables.’ I love the music, the period, the characters. But mostly the music :) Listening to it inspires me so much. One of my goals in life is to finally see it on stage :D (and maybe be in a production haha)
